Established on August 14, 1990 per GSCAU-39-90, the Division of Human Resources shall consolidate all human resources programs and activities of the Navajo Nation Government within a single division to facilitate effective management and delivery of human resource programs and services in a comprehensive manner. 

The Division of Human Resources consists of an Administration office and eleven (11) programs (see below).
